Copenhagen Pride Week 2019 will take place from 13. - 18. August.
Copenhagen City Hall Square will become Pride Square dressed up in rainbow colors and host various events, music, and activities.
The highlight of Copenhagen Pride Week is by many considered to be the huge parade marching through the Danish capital on Saturday afternoon. The parade takes off from Frederiksberg Town Hall Square at 13:00 and proceeds down Vesterbrogade before reaching its final destination which is Copenhagen City Hall Square (Pride Square). For spectators, popular viewing spots include Frederiksberg Allé, Sankt Thomas Plads and Vesterbro Torv.
Service on our hop-on hop-off buses will be affected by this parade. Stops 23 and 1 will be blocked during the course of the parade. As the guests begging their walk at 13:00, we expect them to reach our stops at around 14:00. We expect therefore delays and closure of stops 23 and 1 between 14:00 and 15:30. We suggest during this time to head to stop 2, Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek where we will have extra buses waiting to continue the tour. We also suggest that during these 2 hours, finding a good spot at stop 1 to watch the parade and join the party!
During the day, please check our phone app (Red Sightseeing) for live tracking of the buses plus any additional information will be sent out as a message. Stop 23 and Stop 1 will have staff members there to answer any questions and help you continue your journey.
We look forward to seeing you for Copenhagen Pride Week 2019 and we hope you will find lots of interesting activities in the program that you will want to take part in.
