One-way to the beach

There is so much to do at Tofta beach, just south of Visby, that you can easily spend all day there and much longer if you want. Rated as the best beach in the Nordics, this 3 kilometre beach offers a variety of activities, restaurants and accommodations for all, as well as the best After Beach parties on the island.

You can relax the day away on the sandy beach, in one of the Beach Club’s jacuzzies or take a yoga class. If you’d rather get active at the beach, there are plenty of activities for you to do too. You can go for a swim, play padel tennis or beach volleyball, or test your balance on a SUP or skate board.

Whether your only at Tofta Strand for a day or longer, you won’t have to worry about where to eat. Along with the beach bar you’ll find several great cafés and restaurants, including Trattoria Bella and Lilo Surfcafé. Our bus will drop you by the bus stop next to Tofta beach parking.

One-way to Visby

The island’s main town is a must visit when you travel to Gotland. Visby is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and arguably the best-preserved medieval city in Scandinavia. Every summer, Visby celebrates Medieval Week with a lively market, music and theatre.

The town of Visby is known for the abundance of roses that bloom there in summer and, of course, it also offers some of Gotland’s best sightseeing opportunities. These include Visby Cathedral, the Ruins of St. Nicholas’ Church, the Ruins of St. Drotten’s Church and the 3,5 kilometre long city wall surrounding Visby Old Town with its original towers and gates.

The town’s 25,000 residents know good food when they see it and the town has developed a great food culture, with excellent restaurants, bars and cosy cafés. Here you can enjoy some delicious homemade goods, such as the island’s traditional saffron pancake with berries and cream. Our bus uses the Östercentrum stop, which is just outside the city wall, near the Österport.
