The square will feature two stages from Saturday to Wednesday: The Corner for talks and performances, and the larger Pride Week Stage for dance and shows. It promises to be a vibrant and inclusive experience!
On 19 August, Centralhjørnet will have a twelve hour long party. Centralhjørnet is the oldest LGBTI+ bar in Denmark, where no two days are the same, and has a mixed audience both in terms of age and sexuality. At their street party, you’ll find outside drinks, DJs and the traditional pride party both inside and outside the bar.
At the same time the different gay bars and clubs on Studiestraede, including Kiss Kiss, Maksen Bar and Cosy Bar, are also celebrating. Like every year, the street will be closed to traffic and transformed into a fabulous street party to celebrate gay pride.
As the street parties are getting started, Copenhagen Gay Pride’s biggest party takes to the streets of the city. The Pride Parade 2023 will take place on 19 August from 13:00, starting at Frederiksberg City Hall Square. From here thousands of people who take part in the parade will make their way via Pile Allé, Frederiksber Allé and Vesterbrogade to Pride Square.
This year, Copenhagen Pride sets a powerful example by exclusively utilizing 100% electric vehicles, showcasing their commitment to an eco-conscious and inclusive celebration.
