The Danish Architecture Center (DAC) will introduce you to the key aspects of Danish design, which you can then explore in the city. The hop-on hop-off bus will easily take you all over the city centre, to explore to your heart’s content.

Discover how our lives are shaped by architecture and design

Our surroundings influence our lives, that includes the architecture and design of our cities and buildings. DAC celebrates Danish design at the Tetris-like BLOX building, which is a perfect place to discover, build, play and explore. There are both temporary and permanent exhibits in the museum, making each visit different from the last.

Many of the exhibits at DAC are hands-on and interactive, such as the DAC Slide, a 40-metre long, 4-story tall spiral slide. The exhibit We Dare You is an immersive VR experience that give you the experience of falling down the side of a high-rise building. The newest permanent exhibit at DAC is So Danish! which looks at the development of Danish architecture from Viking times to present day.
