Fotografiska a unique location

It is difficult to find a term that fits Fotografiska. It is not a museum, as it does not have a permanent collection, but it is also not an art gallery as it does not sell the works it displays. Fotografiska is unique, with its constantly changing expositions that span all photographic genres.

You’ll find work from some of the best-known photographers on the wall of Fotografiska, but also art by new generations of image creators. Some famous photographers who have had expositions at Fotografiska Stockholm in the past include Anton Corbijn, David LaChapelle, Annie Leibovitz and Jimmy Nelson.
