Here Scandinavia’s best loved children’s book characters come to life with the help of theatre, song, music and lots of imagination and invention. Kids can explore the worlds of Astrid Lindgren’s Pippi Longstocking,  Tove Jansson’s Moomins and many others.

The magical Junibacken experience includes several interactive exhibitions where kids can explore famous scenes from children’s books, different (Swedish) theatre performances, a ride on the Story Train based on Astrid Lindgren’s last written text and a visit to Sweden’s largest children’s bookshop, with books in many different languages.
